GYTC8S (metal-reinforced hanging wire, loose sleeve layer twisted
filling, steel-polyethylene bonding sheath 8-shaped self-bearing
outdoor optical cable for communication) The structure of the
optical cable is to put single-mode or multi-mode optical fibre
into the inner-filled waterproof compound loose sleeve made of
high-modulus plastic. The centre of the cable core is a metal
reinforcement core. For some optical cables with a number of cores,
a layer of polyethylene (PE) is also extruded outside the metal
reinforcement core. The loose sleeve (and filling rope) is twisted
around the centre to strengthen the core to form a compact and
round cable core, and the gaps in the cable core are filled with
water-blocking compounds. After coating the plastic steel belt is
wrapped vertically, it is made of steel stranded wire and sling
polyethylene sheath at the same time.
